How events are announced.

A date appears on this page only once it is settled. A meeting still being built — the symposium above is the current example — may appear earlier as an explicitly labelled programme in development, so registrars can see what the society is working on; even then, no date, venue, faculty, fee or registration route is published until it is genuinely confirmed. Where two sources disagree about a date, the session is held back until one of them is confirmed.

Beyond the teaching above, WIRS is developing further formats — workshops, multidisciplinary sessions and case-based evenings — as capacity and faculty interest allow. Nothing beyond what is listed here is scheduled.
